SURVEY RAG SHEET / PLAT MAP SHEET


A Survey RAG Sheet is typically a spreadsheet or summary table that tracks the progress and quality of various surveying activities used by the BOE Survey Division, such as:

  • Topographic surveys
  • Boundary or control point establishment
  • As-built surveys
  • Utility surveys
  • QA/QC reviews

Note: BOE created the Customer Service Request (CSR) Portal (located in the Customer Portal) to allow members of the public to make contact with City Staff for questions and/or assistance on any permit or development services related matter. 

New Request

  1. Customer  to request number of sheets using one of the portals identified in the Note Above
  2. BOE Staff to proceed to the Universal Cashiering online application to generate an invoice to send to the customer.  The procedures for how to process payments can be found in this manual under Other BOE Permits/Processes and called 07 - Universal Cashiering On-Line Processing. Note: Use QC477 - PLAT SHEET (SURVEYOR) / EACH
  3. Customer to Pay Invoice Sent to Their E-Mail.
  4. Customer to E-Mail the Survey Division at surveydivision@lacity.org (needs update) with copy of receipt and request to schedule a pickup time for the hard copy of the RAG Sheet at 201 N Figueroa Ave, 11th Floor.
